Intimate Dune Elopement

A deserted, snow-white beach, a colorful horizon kissing the sea in the distance or a magical and very intimate dune elopement – there is so much that can hide behind the rolling hills of sand.

Thanks to photographer Kelly Sweet, we don´t have to decide. She wants all that and even more. Lush greenery paired with delicate blush or a mix of romance, naturalness and elegance, for example.

She shared her wishes and visions with colleague Shanell Fulcher, with whom she developed this styled shoot together. In implementing their unconventional and feather-light concept, they could fully rely on their favorite vendors from the national wedding industry.

Michigan is full of beautiful beaches and sand dunes just asking for an elopement to take place.“ Kelly Sweet raves about this place and adds: „We wanted each vendor to have some creative freedom in what they did so it was actually a surprise to all of us when we met up the day of the shoot and put everything together.“

The result was far from disappointing. Bloom Floral Design created sweeping and freshly picked flower arrangements, Simply Sweet by Jessica provided a plain cake reminiscent of white sand dunes, a lovingly set small table with cushions spread carefree BoHo feeling and a simple but sexy Carol Hannah dress slid down barely noticeably a gorgeous bride.
