Romantic Island Wedding

Tucked away behind meter-high trees that rise out of the water and surrounded by a reed and water lily-covered lake, we discover the idyllic “Tree House”, that serves as an exotic setting for a romantic island wedding.

In its garden there are bamboo chairs placed around a lavishly laid table and the terrace is lined with young bonsais. Modern architecture made of natural materials paired with Buddhist elements close the circle of a foreign culture.

A culture that the young bride and groom want to introduce us to. A culture that comes to life in the colorful inspirations of event stylist Jill Liang of Jill Loves Lace. „I’m always inspired by raw materials and natural elements. So I decided to pull together this wedding inspiration shoot in a flowing island resort.“ she said. „We used earthy brown and dusty orange as our themed colors paired with a Bali feel tablescape to create something that shows a softer, natural and romantic side to the traditional island weddings.“

Photographer Mark Hong of The Stage Photography sounds similarly enthusiastic. He captured the ubiquitous romance, idyll and exoticism and raves about this day: „Every detail came together flawlessly, thanks to the amazing team of vendors. From the floral stylist VM Valley Floral to the outfit, wedding cake to the calligraphy by Love Art Letters, each of us has put so much effort in to create an aesthetic in our shoot. It would not be the same without any of us…“

So lay back and immerse yourself in a lush green, tropical and exciting source of inspiration, summarized by The Stage Photography.
