Sensual Bridal Boudoir

Sometimes having pictures taken in dreamlike lingerie is just about capturing a special moment, aesthetic poses and seductive motifs for eternity, but above all a sensual bridal boudoir can also have a much deeper meaning. What exactly that might be? Let’s just ask event stylist Willow & Oak Events what kind of thought inspired her to this session whose photos photographer Brian D Smith shares with us today!

Our bride in this story, Juliette, is strong yet tender, ambitious yet humble… and unabashedly feminine. She takes her time, indulging in the everyday moments most people glide through routinely.“ she describes the gorgeous source of inspiration for her idea. „We hope this fine art boudoir story inspires brides everywhere to take their time and breathe in every little moment of the day – from the heirloom lingerie with intricate lace detailing to the foraged bouquet of fresh and dried blooms of Flowershop that look like a gift from Mother Nature herself.

Juliette also seems to have received her beauty from Mother Nature, radiant, flawless and blessed with femininity. Charms that she knows how to stage effectively: „She slides into a French solstiss lace robe with a dramatic sweeping train from Claire Pettibone and traipses down the hall for a warm cup of herbal tea. As she takes a seat,  she lights a couple candles and lets the scent of peonies seep into the upper balcony at 86 Cannon as she takes a deep breath and begins writing her vows.“

In this beguiling touch of nothing, she then wanders through the picturesque ambience of the Magnolia Gardens, thoughtful, curious and attentive.

Later, Juliette wraps herself into a decadent and timeless bridal gown with hand-beaded organza flowers cascading over a sheer bodice and a skirt of luxurious lace and creamy silk.“ We are sure that her groom will have adored her in this outfit and could not wait to start with her in a respectful, attentive and relaxed future…

„Fitting with this theme, we’d recommend settling into a cozy spot and popping on the tune “Easy” by The Commodores while perusing this gallery from Brian D Smith Photography to set the perfect tone.“ Willow & Oak Events recommends.
